Tung oil is one of the famous specialties in China, also one of the traditional commodities with large export volume.  Tung oil is extracted from the seeds of tung tree—a special oil tree in China.  Tung oil tree is Aleurites Montana. It originated from China and has been planted for a long history. As early as more than 1,000 years ago, that was in the Tang Dynasty, the plantation of tung oil tree had been recorded.  Thanks to the introduction of the Italian Marco Polo, tung oil tree has been exported to other countries and regions since the Yuan Dynasty.  Tung oil is a kind of fine dry vegetable oil. It is light, easy to dry, and bright and adhesive. It is heat resistant, acid and alkalis resistant, anti-erosion, anti rust and non-electric. Thus it is applied widely. It is the main ingredient for oil paint and printing ink, and is widely used in water-proofing, anti-erosion and anti rust materials in construction, machinery, arms, vehicles and ships, fishing tools and electrical appliances. It can also be used to make oil cloth, oil paper, soap, pesticide, as well as nauseant and insecticide for medical use. 

Tung oil is a kind of plant oil for industrial use. It is abstracted from mechanically ground fruits of tung trees. The whole process is done with physical methods. Tung oil tree is a kind of perennial wood tree. It grows in remote mountainous areas. Tung tree has a strong capacity of insect resistance. It does not need fertilizer or pesticide. As a kind of natural plant oil, tung oil enjoys the features of quick drying, heat and moisture resistance and anti-erosion, thus it is widely used in architecture, oil paint, ink printing, ship building, agricultural machinery, electronic industry and furniture. 

 For export, tung oil is usually in 190kgs iron drums. Each 20-foot container can hold 80 drums (about 15.2 tons). Or in international standard container tank ISO Tank. Each tank can hold 21.5-22 tons.     Container bag 21 tons /Flexitank.    If requested by customers to reduce cost, it can also be transported in re-made iron drums, 190kgs/ per drum. Each 20-foot container can hold 80 drums (about 15.2 tons). 

 Ports of loading are:   Huangpu port, Guangzhou; Shekou/Shenzhen; Nanning, Wuzhou, Liuzhou. Specific port will be used for actual needs. 

Price of tung oil fluctuates as influenced by economic development or natural environment.   At the beginning of 2002, tung oil price dropped to RMB4000/MT, while soared to RMB15000/MT by the Sping Festival of the same year, and later dropped again, which troubled many businessmen. In 2004, the price also fluctuated between 11000-15000RMB/ton. Entering 2005, it was steadily high.
